The Riverview Group is both a shareholder and the development manager for the Kingo Group’s development in Kingston. The Kingo Group owns a block of land on the corner of Eyre Street and Jardine Street in Kingston. This property adjoins an ACT Government-owned parcel of land that currently consists of a car park and cooperative shop.
Kingo Group has engaged Cox Architects to prepare a concept development outline which includes ground floor retail and a four-level, eighteen apartment residential block with basement parking. The Kingo Group are currently considering this concept.
A development application will be submitted once the ACT Government’s consideration of the Kingston master plan is announced and the ACT Government’s intentions for the adjoining land are clarified. The block has been identified as a future supermarket site.
